$225 - Globe Wernicke Tanker Desk

Lookit, lookit! Globe Wernicke is classic. They patented the ever-popular barrister bookcase. They also specialized in desks and these metal ones appeared during WWII when 90% of the company's production was turned to military equipment. This looks to be in great condition. Get it!
"Made in the USA. Mid-century (1940's - 1960's). Globe - Wernicke S-670 industrial tank desk made of heavy gauge steel. Measures 60" long x 32" wide x 30.5" tall. Double pedestal design with one file drawer on right, two pull out writing surfaces and center locking drawer (no key). All drawers operate smoothly. Original brushed aluminum pulls. Newer black vinyl applied to original top. Original Globe - Wernicke label intact. Overall great condition."
Here's a similar one on Etsy for $375...

School Lockers!

A couple of incredible locker options here! Greg bought some old lockers off of CL, originally used in a Trailways Bus station, to store all of his tools in our mudroom. They have a great industrial vibe and manage to store (and hide) almost all of his man-ish items, while adding some real character to the space.
$35 each/ $390 for 13 (Blue lockers) - http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/for/2840685363.html

Industrial Factory Cart and Cabinets

The industrial cart as coffee table has been super popular for awhile now and, as far as I can tell, will be for a long time to come. And why not? I never get tired of seeing them, and the prices out there reflect the high demand for these unique center pieces. Restoration Hardware, Etsy, and eBay all tout some pretty varied prices. Another great resource for factory carts at a great price is Antique Factory Cart Coffee Tables - these guys do all the work for you, with great results. The carts on CL are a good deal on any day and hopefully just need a little cleaning and oiling.
And the insanely cool red metal cabinets?? Amazing. $75 EACH?? Highway Robbery!!

$100 - Vintage John Deere Pedal Tractors!

I'm pretty sure that, if I ever have kids, they will grow to hate me because I'll be the parent who refuses to buy anything new for them (or anything that requires batteries...). They don't make toys like they used to, and they certainly don't make cast metal tractors like these!
In my family, the green and yellow of John Deere is king...our family farm in Tennessee is equipped with (among others) a Model 2030 that's still chugging along. My Grandfather (we call him 'Daddidah') bought it when my dad was a kid, and my cousins and I grew up riding on the wheel wells as my Dad bush hogged around the property - he even taught me to drive it. Good memories;)
The pedal tractors I've found here are eerily similar to the one that my Grandfather bought for my Uncle Tom in 1967 or '68 for $10 at a junk shop in Ethridge, Tennessee...Daddidah remembers Tom riding in circles in the open garage of their Huntsville, Ala. home, tongue hanging out the entire time. How about you make one of those low-tech kinds of memories for yourself? Pick up one of these options and you can do just that - and tell Fisher Price to take a hike while you're at it...
This is a great price - these tractors are highly collectible these days.
Not a John Deere tractor kind of family? Fret not - How about this sweet 40s blue plane pedal cart??

Southern Fried Furniture

When I see these classic relics of Americana a few things quickly come to mind:
Old people.
Sweet Tea.
Old people drinking sweet tea.
My parents (unrelated to previous 'old people' reference...)
Hot, quiet, Alabama summer nights.
The green, green grass of my Dad's backyard.
Hickory chips on the grill.
I could go on, but I won't...instead, I'd like to plop down in one of these vintage metal gliders or chairs with my glass of sweet tea (preferably served in a ridiculously large plastic cup leftover from a circa 1994 Auburn football game...). Any one of these Craigslist options would make my DC rowhouse feel miles away from the sirens of Georgia Avenue, the construction of Sherman Avenue, and, most disturbingly, the psychotic wailings of my ill-behaved seven year old neighbor...

$29 - Industrial Metal Desktop Toolbox

This super cool industrial toolbox is rendered even more highly super cool by its el cheapo price tag! You could use this for anything from pens or paintbrushes, to spices or picture hanging supplies. Great way to add some industrial character to some much needed storage area (in other words, please don't go to the Container Store and buy a crappy chunk of plastic...). 8 1/4" deep, 5 3/4" across, 6 1/4" tall.

$249 - Vintage 1930s Metal Apothecary Cabinet
This super sweet vintage metal medical cabinet would be awesome in your original, closet-starved, subway tiled bathroom to store towels and toiletries. At $249, it's not the very cheapest thing, but it's a steal with some big-time character, and is a lot cheaper than this beauty at Rehab Vintage.
